Male Liposuction

August 21st, 2009

Are you looking into male liposuction?  It’s not so unusual these days for a guy to go in for cosmetic sugery, more and more men these days are concerned about their appearances and want to look their best.

The ways in which men try to improve their image consists of going through not only liposuction, but also gynecomastia surgery(man boobs), laser hair removal, hair transplantation, buttock enlargement and tummy tucks.

Male liposuction is something which is often done to the abdominal region as that is where most men collect adipose tissue, however some men would rather get a chiseled jawline and have it done on the chin and neck area.

If you’re considering doing this though, be aware that it is not cheap.  Most surgeries run in the range of 3-5 thousand dollars a session.  Additionally, if you don’t follow this up with a sound eating plan, chances are all the fat will just come right back.

If you really want to make a change in your appearance, you’re going to have to come to terms with the fact that your diet and lifestyle is to blame and start taking measures to improve it.  If you look to liposuction as a quick fix, you’re going to be in for some disappointment in a few months when the weight all comes back.

Now back to liposuction for men.  Another thing you’re going to want to keep in mind is that there can be complications during the surgery.  If you get a bad surgeon, they may remove too much and cause trauma and unusual indentations.  Another thing which may happen is you may wind up with stretch marks if a doctor goes at it a little too harshly and removes some collagen/connective tissues.

Aside from that, male liposuction is a viable form of surgery, just keep in mind that you’re going to have to work to maintain the results.

If you need more info on this or you want to find out where to have it done, check the Internet for clinics in your area.
